घटस्थापना : दशैंको प्रथम दिन

 घटस्थापना दशैं को त्यो दिन को जुन दिन बाट नेपाालमाा दशैं अर्थात वडा दशैं  को सुरुवात हुन्छ । यो आश्विन महिनाको सुरुवाती हप्ता र नयाँ चन्द्रमामा पर्दछा ।

दशैंको पहिलो दिन; घटस्थापना नेपाली चन्द्र पात्रो (सेप्टेम्बर/अक्टोबर) को छैटौं महिनाको नयाँ चन्द्रमामा पर्छ। यो दिन यात्राको मौसमको आधिकारिक उद्घाटन र स्वागत पनि हो - शरद ऋतु।

यसदिन मानिश्हरुले बीउ रोप्छन् जुन पछि (टिका) को दिन 'जमरा' को रूपमा प्रयोग गरिन्छ । त्यसैले यो दशैंको महत्वपूर्ण दिन मानिन्छ  ।


घटस्थापना 

"घट"भनेको भाँडो लाई बुझिन्छ र "स्थापना" भनेको स्थापित गर्नु हो । त्येसैले घटस्थापना भनेको पूजाको भाडो लाई स्थापित गर्ने दिन हो । पूजारिहरुले यो कार्यको सुरुवात गर्न शुभ मुहुरथ अर्थात शुभ समयको पत्र अनुसार गणना गर्दछ  । यस दिन मनिशहरुले आ-आफ्ना घर का कुना काप्चा देखि वरिपरी सफा गरेका हुन्छन र पूजा का वा घटस्थापनाको लागि विशेष कोठा (स्थान) छुट्याएका  हुन्छन । 
पाहिले मानिशहरु पूजा कोठा को कुनामा  सफा माटो थुपार्छ . त्येस्पछी जीवन्त फूलहरू र प्राकृतिक रंगहरूको  रंगीन लुगाहरूले  (रातो, पहेंलो र सेतो) कलश सजाउँछन् . रातो रंग ले शक्ति लाई जनाउछ ,पहेंलो रंगले समझ /बुझाई लाई जानुछ भने सेतो रंग साफको परिचय दिन्छ . त्येस्पछी घटस्थापना क प्रक्रिया अगाडी बढाउदै कलश लाई पवित्मार पानि ले भरि टो को बिच्चमा राख्दछन अर्थात कलश को स्थापना गर्दछन ।
कलश (घट) को स्थापना गरिसके पछी कलश को वारी परि जौ,गहुर मकै जस्ता अन्य अन्नहरूको ब्यु टिका को दिन जमरा स्वोरुप प्रयोग हुने गरि राख्छन  रोप्छन्। यति कार्यका साथ् टपरी ( सालको पात ले बनाईएको प्लेट) ब्यु रोप्ने गर्दछ । घटस्थापना साझा पूजा को आरती संग समापन हुन्छ र घटस्थापना साँझको आरतीले नेपालको प्रमुख चाड दशैँ ,दशमी अर्थात बडादशैंको सुरुवात हुन्छ ।

अर्को दिनदेखि मानिसहरूले दिनको दुई पटक (बिहान र साँझ) बीउमा पवित्र पानि जल स्वोरुप दिन्छन्। बीउ अंकुरित हुन्छ र दुई देखि तिन इन्च लामो पहेंलो पात भई बढ्छ। बढेको पहेंलो पात लाई नै जमरा भनिन्छ दशैंको दशौं दिनमा  मानिसहरूले टिका र  जमरा प्रयोग गर्छन्। ठूलाले कान्छोको टाउकोमा टिका लगाई आशीर्वाद दिएर कानमा जमरा लगाउँछन् ।
दशैं जमरा अंकुराउने प्रचलन ठाउँअनुसार फरक-फरक हुन्छ। जमरामा बीउ बढेको १० दिनमा कलशमा माता दुर्गाको वास हुने जनविश्वास छ ।
